When we launched Gin House during Seattle Restaurant Week, our goal was simple: share a bit of the food we grew up with. The support you showed us — every visit, every bowl, every kind word — meant a lot.
From the beginning, Gin House was meant to be our introduction, not the final chapter. We’ve always had a clearer vision for where we wanted to go next.
So we’re closing the Gin House concept and opening Sammie Bodega — our new Southern‑inspired sandwich shop. It’s the corner‑store style we grew up with: big flavor, generous sandwiches, and a focus on simple, honest food made with care.
Nothing about our core beilfs and expession through food is changing. Same team, same values, same commitment to good food and good community — just a direction that feels more like who we are.
